MACK at Arcana: Books on the Arts

Opening: Saturday 25 November, 4-6pm
Exhibition: 25 November – 24 December
8675 Washington Blvd, Culver City, California 90232

Presenting some of the defining art and photography books of the 21st century, this exhibition traces the history of the publishing house, from its early days as the SteidlMACK imprint up until today. Work by artists such as Alec Soth, Broomberg & Chanarin, Collier Schorr, Paul Graham, Roe Ethridge, and Tacita Dean, as well as by emerging photographers, including recipients of the First Book Award, will chart the serpentine trajectory of the independent art publisher. All books on display, many of which are now out of print, will be available to purchase.
