About i saw the air fly
Sirkhane is a mobile darkroom which travels from village to village near the Syrian border in southeastern Turkey, teaching children how to shoot, develop, and print their own photographs. In i saw the air fly, photographs taken by the young participants offer an alternative view of the global refugee crisis which attests to the unfailing resilience of the imagination, the healing power of photography, and the enchanting perspective of childhood. All proceeds from this book will go to the Her Yerde Sanat-Sirkhane non-profit.
